Commission on Financial Efficiency

The Commission on Financial Efficiency (COFE) was established to:

  • Bring more efficient and effective County services to Cabarrus residents by reviewing financial, construction and operational practices and
  • Report findings and recommendations to the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners for review and action.

COFE has space for seven members.

  • Board forms Committee on Financial Efficiency

    At the January 2025 Regular Meeting, the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners formed the County's first Committee on Financial Efficiency. Board Chair Chris Measmer and Vice-Chair Laura Lindsey serve on the committee, along with Cabarrus residents Wes Huneycutt and Lee Shuman. The commission meets regularly.
